F: Dragi Kase, prije svega Vam se želimo zahvaliti na izboru naše tvrtke za Forex trgovanje! Koliko dugo ste na Forex tržištu? Kako je to izgledalo u početku?
K: Around the start of Jan 2009. Previously I have 1-2 years experience with cfds, options, commodities and futures. The problem however was difficulty with trading on small capital (eg. $200-300 US) due to having profits wiped out by brokerage. Forex allowed me to trade in my own time, as its 24/5 which is great.
F: U veljači 2009, napravili ste svoju prvu uplatu kod nas i samo 2 tjedna poslije povećali ste ga za 5 puta! Pa, to je zasigurno dobro trgovanje! Koja je Vaša tajna uspješnog trgovanja – vrhunski expert advisor, ekspertnost u ekonomiji ili doktorat iz matematike? Ili sve zajedno?
K: Haha, yes, I was quite surprised at the results myself, it probably involved a little luck but it does show you what is possible with consistency even on low capital. I used a expert advisor called Forexmetarobot to achieve those results on GBPAUD, during the US session, with a take profit of 50 pips per trade. Secret of successful trading for me would be to start with small capital and scale according to profits rather than losses. Having a trading plan and understanding maximum risks helps with being prepared in advance and is more effective than emotional trading or guessing, I guess thats why I like automated solutions as it takes out alot of emotion.
F: Sigurni smo da bi mnogi trgovci htjeli raditi tako efikasno poput Vas. Koje savjete možete dati našim klijentima, posebno početnicima?
K: What helped me the most was to actually to experiment with small amounts of capital on a live market, micro or cents even is great for beginners. While I backtest systems, I find forward testing much more helpful with keeping up with current market conditions. Trading live with small portions of your actual capital will help engage your emotions, and understand yourself better as a trader. Scale up accordingly with profit, instead of capital will help ensure survivability. As they say, prepare for the worst, but expect the best.
F: Kako upravljate rizikom?
K: The easiest way to play risks is to calculate worse case scenarios before trading each trade live. I usually only place small deposits into my account at a time to start off with and scale according to profit. That way if a worse case scenario occured; server crashed, orders did not close, experts advisors were not working, you would lose mainly profit instead of capital.
F: Što biste nam preporučili kako da poboljšamo našu tvrtku? Kako možemo bolje uslužiti Vas i druge klijente?
K: Support and services are excellent but I would probably have to say improvement of execution orders. I know that Forex4you relies on feeds on FXCM, if perhaps there were additional feeds, that would improve order execution time. I trade with multiple brokers and expert advisors and at times my orders have not closed off due to execution errors and requotes, which have not happened on the same trades on 1-2 of my other brokers which might perhaps have different interbank feeds which are more liquid. If Forex4you teamed up with a company like www.fxrebates.com or something similar this would also probably attract more clients, having a consistent flow of rebates that can even act as income.
F: Koje su po Vašem mišljenju najvažnije kompetitivne prednosti Forex brokera?
K: On the top of my list would have to be a large list of tradable majors and exotics such as AUDNZD or GPBAUD, fixed low spreads, high liquidity, reliable and fast execution of orders. Easy, quick and flexible deposit/withdrawl methods, and customer support that is quick, realiable, and knowledgeable are equally important. With expert advisors that use a scalping strategy, low spreads and reduced execution errors can be the difference between profit and loss.
F: Da li radite negdje? Ako da, i ako se Vaše Forex trgovanje uspješno nastavi, da li planirate dati otkaz i živjeti od trgovanja?
K: Currently I do have a job, the main role of which is programming and maintenance. This is great as it allows me to put some of my skills to use trading forex, when working on new and existing systems. Yes, if all goes to well, I’m aiming for 1-2 years to retire. Trading opens new doors, by providing time and resources, I believe its a great vehicle for those who are comitted.
F: Koji su vaši omiljeni valutni parovi i zašto?
K: For scalping I like to use the exotics like GBPAUD, EURAUD, EURNZD and the major EURUSD. Typically the non-exotics even though they have a larger spread they tend to form the perfect environment for scalping after big trends, with around 50 pips target per trade. While the EURUSD is great for around 5-20 pips per trade. Longer term positions I like to focus on are AUDUSD and CADJPY. AUDUSD is great as I deal with these currencies in real life and CADJPY is a great way to play the oil market due to similarities.
F: Koje je Vaše tipično trgovinsko okruženje? Da li postoji šalica vruće kave koja Vam „puni“ mozak? Ili možda glasna linija sa omiljenom glazbom? Molimo Vas opišite Vaš tipični trgovinski dan!
K: I have a 28” monitor setup at home, which definately helps when I’m looking at charts =). Typically I always have a bit of music on to keep me focused and relaxed as well as snack food, and have MSN setup so I can discuss strategies with other trading peers across diff countries and states. I mainly use expert advisors, so I really only monitor my trades just before heading to work and 2 or so hours before bed just to make sure they’re not misbehaving and that my VPS (virtual private server) is still online. I like to use www.forexfactory.com to check for important news annoucements that might affect my systems while they are live.
F: Živite u Australiji. Da li je tamo Forex trgovanje popularno? Da li imate prijatelja ili poznanika koji isto trguju?
K: Forex trading is popular in Australia but probably not as much as trading and investing in stocks and CFDS. The majority of people in Australia that do trade/invest I believe trade in the ASX200 with CFDs and stocks more commonly as well as the US Market. I hear more people talk about the stock market rather than the forex market even though forex is considerably larger. I have a group of about 5 friends who I trade forex with, we basically work as a team, reviewing each others systems, adding improvements, criticisms, and researching new systems. It's much easier to when you have 5 others thinking out of the box and working in improving.
